I've been enjoying so many family beach photos sessions this summer that an in-home newborn session was a nice change of pace! This beautiful Jacksonville family invited me into their home to document the arrival of baby #3. Mom is a YouTube influencer so of course their home was the perfect setting for family newborn photos! I've included a few of my favorites from the session here so you can see. I love that big open living room and that beautiful white rug by the fireplace. Mom suggested we take a couple of images in this part of the room and they're some of my favorites from the session! I also love the backlit images of the family. With newborn photos, it's important to keep it neutral and minimal. You don't want them to look dated when your baby is heading off to college. When you strip away the clutter and the noise, and in most cases the bright colors, from the images you're left with timeless portraits that focus on the subject and their expressions.

And a side note on how stunningly beautiful this Mama is, isn't she?! I've never been one to be bold enough to try bangs but she ROCKS this look!! And another favorite part of this session for me was the beautiful pair of Mommy and Me dresses from Ivy City. These are their Mid Summer Nights Dream Dresses. I love a little glam for a newborn photo session that still makes a light and airy, understated look.
