I always love working for other creatives so when this Mama reached out to me to document her own family on the coast I jumped at the chance to reciprocate what we always do for other families! Being a photographer who specializes in coastal portraits, this family didn't want to deviate from my signature session so we met at sunrise, on the beach in St. Augustine, on a beautiful and sunny morning, and got to witness a little of that early morning Golden Hour magic.

People are always hesitant to try and make a sunrise beach photo session happen, but once you're out there, it's cooler weather, less humidity, little to NO people, and the sand still have that glistening look to it before it's walked on all day. Not to mention if you're vacationing in St. Augustine and still have some time left, you have the whole day ahead of you. To me, it's a win win and I'm so glad that so many families take advantage of my sunrise session special! It really is such a great value, and since we're east coast, it in my opinion lends to the best backlight as that sun comes right up over the horizon.

For this family sessions, Mom is also a photographer so I knew she would have her family dressed just right, but my favorite thing about their outfits was her beautiful dress and hat - all AMAZON! Amazon is coming up! I feel like so many sessions these days my clients have something in the mix from there.

And of course, let's not forget to mention another favorite thing about this photo session - their baby girl's smile! Am I right?! I love it when they get those pearly whites in. It's like they're smiling just to show them off.
