I loved working with this sweet family who came from out of state to vacation here in St. Augustine, Florida! We opted for a sunrise session on the coast to celebrate their baby girl and just being together. We had a beautiful sunrise that morning, full of color and clouds (the best type of sunrise). And, they even included their four-legged family members too! I always encourage people to include whomever you'd like to remember - Grandma, Grandpa, the whole family is always welcome!

For this session my my clients decided to go with the film add-on to their portrait session. With outdoor family films, I always encourage clients to relax and be yourself and let me do the legwork! I feel like people don't understand what exactly a film entails and too many times it's over looked, so in this post, I've included a few images only and shared the finished full film below. I wanted to keep this post short and sweet and let the sound and the motion of the film do it's thing! This color image is the one color image I wanted to included in the post because it reminds me of such a classic, and nostalgic, childhood moment, doesn't it? Sitting on the beach in the quiet of the morning sunrise with your little baby. Holding each other close as they're waking up for the day. During my beach portrait sessions I'm always trying to document classic and timeless moments for my clients. Moments that when your kids are grown and they look back they smile and have a feeling of comfort and peace, knowing just how loved they truly were...and are.
