Sharing a few of my favorite images from this beautiful sunrise family session on the coast. Sunrise is my absolute favorite time to photograph families on the beach, and this trio did a fantastic job! You can really feel their connection, as well as the love that they shared. Mom nailed the clothing didn't she?! A pop of color like rust is an excellent choice when having your portrait session on the beach. The color compliments the rising sun nicely, and adds a little depth and contrast to the light and airy images you'll find at sunrise.

Another thing I loved about this family photo session was the little fox their daughter wanted to incorporate into the session. In-home sessions aren't the only portrait sessions where you can include something personal for your children. A toy or a stuffed animal that has meaning is always welcomed, even at the beach! This young lady has many foxes, even some as backups to her backup! I just love how much this means to her and I'm glad that Mom recognized the importance of incorporating it into their photo session. The color of the fox really helped to compliment Mom's rust dress and the beautiful warm colors that are present at sunrise.

Aurora the fox, her favorite toy. So much so that she has several of them, in case she ever loses one or wants to have an extra one while traveling. So cute!!!
