It was a bittersweet last session for these baby plan members, but I have absolutely loved photographing this sweet family and their first-born's first year milestones.

For our last baby milestone together, we wanted to switch it up a bit and go for a garden type of vibe - flowers and roses giving us that summer look. We documented the arrival of their baby with an in-home newborn session, so we took this final session in their baby plan as an opportunity to opt outside and capture their sweet babe in the gardens. Yes, it was a hot afternoon (as most Florida mornings are here) but we had so much fun hanging in the gardens, and much to my surprise, the roses were still blooming! 

The rain kept rescheduling this session many times, but I'm so glad we waited because the sun peeked out this time, giving us all of that late afternoon glow we were holding out for.
