I have been photographing this sweet family since 2014! We first met in Gainesville, where I first started my business, and they have been loyal patrons ever since! Supporting me through all of my changes, my move to St. Augustine, Florida - through it all! I'm so grateful for loyal clients like this, and truly value our business relationship. It's such an honor being able to watch a family grow from your point of view, from behind your lens.

For this session, and since we've pretty much done it all together, Mom wanted something a little different. So we met in St. Augustine in an open field and did a boho take on their family photo session. With Mom's dress in a long flow cream, and her daughter's in coordinating cream with pops of rust, we were able to give the complete outfit combination a polished yet eclectic look. I love that Dad wore black jeans too! I think for this type of look it totally works. And how cute is little boy Jude? I've been photographing this little guy since before he was born and his personality coming through in the images I take of him never disappoints! 

My favorite thing about this session, other than this awesome family, is the location! I love that we did the timing at sunset, to still get those warm tones you'll find with backlit portrait sessions, but I also love the open field and grassy location we chose. It was a nice change from the coast, and I think gives it that out West feeling without the plane ride!
