I fell in love, so to speak, with this gorgeous mama the minute I read her inquiry. The warm feel of her words, and identifying with her fertility struggles myself - it was like this family was calling my name! 

What are your goals for your session? I want to capture the love we have for each other, and the joy a child with Down syndrome brings a family. We are stronger, closer, and happier because of the special little boy God blessed us with.

Someday, when your children own these images and look back on their childhood, what would you like them to see reflected there? I hope they remember being unconditionally loved and valued.

I could have photographed this family all summer! They're light and breezy and I love how palpable their adoration for one another is. 

Lastly, one thing I really loved about this session was that it was a celebration of Hudson's second birthday! When you have your fourth and final child at the age of 43, a statement like this session says something! Capturing the fun this family has together is exactly why I do what I do. This session is a showstopper!
