It's been a fast almost 3 years with this spunky little girl of ours, Miss Elle! It feels like yesterday that we were so excited for her arrival and now I'm looking forward to planning for her milestone 3rd birthday and for her baby brother's literal birth day. Since we have all been thrown into such unpredictable circumstances over the past few months, I'm happy to say that it's the simple things that make this almost 3 year-old the happiest! We love walking on the beach as a family and looking for shells and shark teeth. This local spot also happens to be an amazing one for Justin to fish from the shore. She loves helping her daddy gather bait and I hope that never changes! I can't get over how tall Elle is getting - she is really coming into her own as a little girl.

Sometimes I just have to share some imagery of my own family. As photographers, we rarely get this treat, am I right? I mean, it feels like something that's important to do!

I like to fill as much of our time as I can with bright notes! This is something Justin and I have always loved to do together, and even more so now that our family has grown and continues to grow. Plus, it's summer! And nothing says summer more than the beach. Sand, rolling waves, and practically endless sunshine. What's not to love? The beach never loses its special qualities. It's a place where I can forget about all of my worries and instead focus on my family and the amazing scenery around us. Summer at the beach calls for salty hair, tan lines, and that eternal scent of sunscreen.
