I LOVED this family!! When Dad contacted me to book a sunset session on the beach for his family, I could tell her was very involved with his children. And when I read through his thorough answers from their questionnaire, it only confirmed that they shared a very strong bond.

Their session was SO.FUN. No drama, no stress. They chased the kiddos around, splashed in the water, and raced down the shoreline. It was a very organic sequence of events during their portrait session, and something I always welcome - CANDIDS! We got plenty of them!

When chatting with Mom during the in-between moments of their session, I learned that they were surprising the kids with a trip to DISNEY the next day! How cool is that?! First time any of them had ever been to Disney, and all the kids knew was "there was going to be water, and possibly some sun." Don't you just love that spontaneity? My kind of folks.

There were so many to share, and such joy and laughter to document during their beach session, but these are a few of my favorites. I love when a family embraces the salt life during their photo session - no rules, no stress. Just have FUN. Forget about the expectations and just enjoy being in the moment. I'll document that for you. It is what you'll want to remember anyway when looking back on your photographs years from now.

I incorporated some black and white images into this family's beach portrait session because it added a bit of emotion I thought to their set. They had so much of it.

These three. I picture this adorning a desk someday when the children are older. So much personality in this image. I love the difference on each of their faces - adorable.
