I've been working with this family since their eldest was a baby! I've been truly honored to document their family story after all of this time. It's wild to see how much the children have grown, and I love that for their latest session (to celebrate sweet Claire turning five), they decided to come full circle and reconnect on the sandy shores of St. Augustine Beach. This location is my very favorite to shoot, and I was so happy to have such beautiful weather that evening for a sunset session—a perfect backdrop for timeless family portraits.

Golden Hour Magic: There's something truly enchanting about the golden hour—the fleeting moments just before sunset when the sky is awash with warm hues of orange, pink, and purple. It's the ideal time to capture the essence of your family against the backdrop of St. Augustine's pristine beaches, bathed in the soft, ethereal light of dusk. You can see the magic happening with the images towards the end of this shoot. The family running down the shoreline against the waves. The soft glow of the light as it's about to kiss the treeline goodnight. Sometimes, at sunset on the beach, you'll get this hazy light that adds even more magic to a family portrait session.
