I had the pleasure of witnessing and documenting a romantic evening at Disney's Polynesian Resort with a newly engaged couple! The summer air tinged with excitement as fireworks lit up the night sky, and he gave his girlfriend the surprise of a lifetime amidst the dazzling display, asking her to spend forever together.

Disney truly can be a place where dreams come true and love knows no bounds. And the Polynesian Resort is not just a destination; it's a realm of enchantment and romance. What better backdrop for a proposal than the shimmering lights of a fireworks spectacle? And what's more, the name of the current fireworks show at Disney's Magic Kingdom is Happily Ever After! A perfect title to accompany a destination proposal.

When I arrived at the Polynesian Resort, the sun was dipping below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the palm trees and sandy beaches. I was in awe of the gorgeous grounds at the resort. You really did feel transported to a tropical destination, especially when seeing the castle in the background all lit up as couples strolled together hand in hand. The tropical ambiance was everywhere. I made a photograph of the dock during sunset before my clients arrived so that I could add that to the gallery because it looked so magical!

Imagine the anticipation building as you and your partner find the perfect spot to watch the fireworks show. Suddenly, as bursts of color paint the night sky, your partner's demeanor shifts, and you sense something extraordinary is about to happen. With hearts pounding and eyes alight with excitement, you turn to see them reaching for something in their pocket.

In a moment that feels suspended in time, surrounded by the awe-inspiring beauty of the fireworks, your partner drops to one knee, a radiant smile on their face. Words of love and devotion pour forth as they profess their commitment to you. And then, with bated breath, they present a sparkling ring, a symbol of forever. 

Tears of joy in your eyes as you nod eagerly, the word "yes" escaping your lips in a breathless whisper. Cheers erupt from nearby onlookers and close family and friends that attended, their applause blending seamlessly with the symphony of fireworks above. In that magical instant, you and your partner are the center of the universe.

As the fireworks fade into the night, the moment is immortalized forever in photographs and memories. We were able to capture a few shots towards the end as well with family and friends, and it was such a joy watching the excitement of this soon-to-be bride.
