This was my second time doing a Magic Session for this special family! I've had the pleasure of documenting their children since they were born, and it's always an honor for me when we can carry that trust into the land of pixie dust, make lots of magic along the way.
Holding a family photo session at Walt Disney's World's Magic Kingdom is unique in and of itself, but the fact that this is a usual family trip for this group, and that this is the second time I have documented this sweet family at Disney World, made it even more so.
We began our session on the side of the castle, my favorite spot to shoot, where cuteness lies around every corner! Then we continued, of course, with family portraits around the back and front of Cinderella's Castle. A photo session at the Castle wouldn't be complete with out some snacks, so we grabbed some sweet treats on Main Street before we finished our day. A sugary confection from Main Street is truly one of my favorite ways to round out a fun-filled morning of family Disney photos!
Before Main Street, we moved on to enjoying some of our favorite jaunts in and around the castle, like Sir Mickey's and Arthur's Stone. And of course, we took a few trips on the Carousel. I mean any iconic Disney experience must contain rides and SUGAR, right?!
Magic Sessions are among my very favorite ways to photograph a family enjoying each other's company. Not only because of the location, but I get to document a child's wonder and whimsy in a way that only a magical place like Walt Disney World can.
I absolutely love that little Claire was in her element (there truly was no forced posing in any way during this session, this truly IS...Claire). So I've included a few of my favorites from this magical family photo session at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom, but I tried to keep the focus (per Mom's request) mainly on the sweet little Princess Claire. Seeing her love her blue Cinderella dress and those sparkly shoes with the little heel makes me think of childhood. I hope I was able to bottle up Mama's little princess for her.
