Welcome baby boy number three for this Riverside/Avondale family! I've had the pleasure of photographing this sweet family for years now, and this is their second time in my popular membership baby plan. I am so honored that they continue to trust me to document their growing family's milestones.

For these latest session, we opted for a simple and timeless in-home newborn portrait session. All dressed in white, their daughter in a vintage dress that was actually Mom's from when she was a child. We cleared away the room with the best light, and I put some sheers on the window to soften the natural light around them. These efforts gave a light and airy look to their in-home newborn family photos and we love it! I am a minimalist myself, so anytime I can focus on the emotion and the subjects and clear away the clutter in a room (which this Mama didn't have anyway) I'm up for it!

I've included a few of my favorite images from this in-home newborn session, but there are so many more! One of my favorite images from this set is the image of her father, the children's grandfather, with the two boys. It's such a rare occasion that Grandpa participates in a newborn photo session so I welcomed capturing these sweet moments for this family, of their "boys".

Another favorite (really all of them) are the solo images with Mama and her newborn baby. It is such a sweet occasion to exist in the portraits with your child. Even one great fine art portrait of a baby with their mother will for surely be treasured for a lifetime, passed down for generations. And the last portrait I have featured next to the newborn baby quote, something about the soft light in this photograph did it for me. I would certainly have that framed if it were me.
