Happy New Year to all! I thought I would start the New Year, and the first post of the year, with a newborn session! Fresh starts are always so welcomed, aren't they? I've always loved in-home newborn sessions and this Jacksonville in-home newborn session was no different. Give me allllll the babies! I have always felt like having your family's first portraits together in a space that is familiar to you (even if you don't think it's "camera ready") is the best way to truly document this time in your life. Years down the road, when your baby is grown, you'll cherish these moments you spent together during those first few weeks. Having just had a baby myself, I completely understand just how fast it goes, and moreover, how soon you'll forget! That first year with baby is a blur, as all of us parents know!

Speaking of not being "camera ready", I hear this often when a new client calls to inquire about having their newborn photo session inside their home. But do not worry!
