There is something so dreamy about a coastal sunrise portrait session, isn't there? The light this morning was so beautiful, so ethereal. And this baby! I know I've probably said this before, but this baby takes the prize for world's happiest I must say - what a cutie!

I am always so honored when my clients from Jacksonville make the trip out to St. Augustine Beach to meet me at sunrise. I know it's such an effort to wake up so early and load the kiddos in the car, but as you can see from these sweet images it's so worth it! 

What made this beach session even more magical was the fact that it's been raining for about a week straight. One thing you can almost always count on at sunrise is sun, even if it's peaking out from clouds. That isn't something you can say about a sunset session. We live on the east coast of Florida so the Tradewinds typically start rolling in mid-afternoon bringing with them the rain, especially in the summer months. Sunrise is more of a safe bet.

I've included below some of my favorites from this sunrise beach portrait session, and I wanted to note how happy Mom and Dad were! That always makes my day when Dad especially has a great time. He commented during the session how beautiful the location was and how they should make an effort to do this more often. <3
