July has come to a close and as I wrap up all of these family beach portrait sessions I can't help but smile! I absolutely love the busy July summertime vibes here on the coast in St. Augustine Beach, but I especially love it when a family wants me to travel to where they're staying! I feel like it adds to the unique and special moment, not to mention it's a bit easier to rangle up a large group of people.

For this extended family beach session I traveled to Amelia Island, Florida and met my clients where they were staying at the Omni Resort. They were celebrating their Mom's 80th birthday in style on the coast. Grandma/Great Grandma was so amazing!! She really was a trooper, and I especially loved how lively and spunky she was. I had so much fun documenting this extended family session - who says large group photo sessions have to suck?!

I've included here a few of my favorites we took on that July summer evening. The sky was magical, the pastel colors at sunset the perfect backdrop for this fun family group. My favorite images from this group of New Yorkers was when they posed as the Rockettes! <3
